WTIX Deane Johnson Show Themes - 1965   The PAMS singers. One thing Storz Program Directors could never complain about was a lack of jingles. Storz purchased nearly every jingle package PAMS produced in the 1950s and 1960s. There were so many jingles at times that they couldn't all be used. We frequently chose not to put every cut from a package on the air if one didn't fit the sound of the station. This clip samples a reel of show jingles for Deane Johnson from one year alone. These weren't the greatest, but that was the crop from PAMS that year. Somehow, the WTIX logo just didn't sound as great as the "Yours Truly KOMA" logo. I believe PAMS called them "Signatures" in their marketing.
