WTIX Fall Promos - 1965 In the days of only three networks and considerable predicatability, the TV networks ran promos for their fall shows in the late summer and early fall. They were a very familiar sound since everyone watched the same three networks. Someone at WTIX (I won't admit it was me) came up with the idea of using the TV approach and similar wording to promote the WTIX jock shows.
